Updates
Hey everyone! Alex here. Just wanted to let everyone know what’s going on with us lately. We haven’t updated the tumblr in a while. We’ve been busy getting some awesome stuff together.
First off, we’re getting shirts. After over three years of being a band, Every Atlas will finally have shirts. There will only be 50 and you can probably only get them at shows (we might put a few online, if someone really wants one).
Second, we’ve been recording. We’ve had a lot of opportunities to record come up so we’ve been taking advantage of that. We’re gonna have a handful of songs soon that will probably make it on to an EP here soon. We even recorded an old song from our first album full band!
On top of that, we’re working on our album. As of now, it’s basically done being written. We have to fill in a few gaps, but that’s it. I’ve never been more excited for people to hear our music. I honestly feel like this is the best thing we’ve ever done. You’ll see.
Tonight I had the idea to do a live album. We’ve had some shitty live releases, but I want to do something really good. Tegan and Sara’s live album “Get Along” inspired me (picked up the LP at Record Store Day) and I really want to do it acoustic. Reinterpret some songs. Play some we never play. Change things up a bit. Maybe even do a limited pressing. Would that be something you guys would be interested in?
We’re also rereleasing The Ghost of Everyone for it’s three year anniversary. And it’s getting pressed for the first time! Most likely a limited run as well.
So anyway, we have a lot going on. We’ll try and update with posts and pictures and even videos more often. Till then…
